Rumor has it Harrison is 6 2 220. if so does he have the range of a free safety? Are these measurements accurate? does anyone know 40 time and his health status?
Really excited about next years team and all of our new Texans! I hope Harrison can be the safety of the future!

He has good speed but not great speed. He did play some CB at Stanford so his cover skills should be stronger than what we've been accustomed to at safety in Houston. I'm excited to see him compete this year. Based on the Smith and Kubiak track record with the draft, I'd say the odds are good that he can play.

I hope he does come out the starter. I like his size and he is smart. I am really rooting for him to be a starter.

I hope Harrison makes it and becomes a great pro, but we have more safeties than pretty much every position, and then we drafted Barber. Something tells me they havent found what they are looking for yet.?.

speaking of Barber...whats his position in the whole scheme of the Texans? Is he also just depth?
I personally would like to see him be the saftey we are looking for, if he is half the player his brother is, then he will be a hell of a DB.

So it's Glenn Earl, CC Brown, Will Demps, Brandon Harrison and the Barber kid in the mix at safety, right? Demps is a lock as the starter, so we're talking about backup(s) to Demps and then the other safety spot, plus a backup (or backups).
Who am I missing, if anybody?

Cox is a special teamer and a stand out one at that. He was brought in for depth and special teams due to injuries last year. Demps and Earl are likely to be the starters.

I completely forgot about Nick Ferguson.
