Got this from NFL.COM

Take those two guys off their defense and they are not an elite defense or franly not an elite team, just a great offense.

July 2: Freeney, who missed the final eight games of the Colts' season and is coming off of foot surgery, Bob Sanders, who underwent offseason shoulder surgery, and Tyjuan Hagler, who tore a pectoral muscle while lifting, are likely to land on the physically unable to perform list when the Colts report to training camp on July 24, the Indianapolis Star reports.

I hate to even think what we could do against them. Defense would just need 2-3 punts and the game is ours!!!

UPDATE
OOOOPS!!! I GUESSS THEY ARE JUST STARTING THEIR PRESEASON ON THE PUP NOT THE REGULAR SEASON.
i SHOULD HAVE READ THE ARTICLE FIRST.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I love the optimism, I just don't want to shoot ourselves in the foot. Texans win 28-21

Looks like they are doing better than expected....

Colts coach Tony Dungy appeared on NFL Live Tuesday to chat and promote his new children's book, "You Can Do It!"

Among the things he touched on was the status of two injured Indianapolis stars.

Dungy said Marvin Harrison, who's coming off knee surgery, "is doing really well" and reiterated the receiver is not a suspect in an April 29 Philadelphia shooting about which he was questioned.

"Right before we closed out our OTAs he was there and he was running," Dungy said. "For the first time in a long time I saw a smile on his face because he was running pain free. So we feel good about where he's going to be physically opening up this year. Everything we've heard and communicated from the Philadelphia police department, he's not a suspect in what's going on there. So again, we feel pretty good about where he's going to be."

Dungy is hopeful that defensive end Dwight Freeney (foot) will be back on track soon, too.

"We've got, fortunately, one of the best foot doctors in the country, Dr. Dave Porter, who's working on this," he said. "He tells us Dwight should make a complete recovery. But it's always kind of scary with a guy like that whose speed is his big asset. He needs to come back full strength, but everything right now indicates that he's going to do that."

Harrison and Freeney probably won't be ready at the start of training camp but the team's been told both should be good to go for the regular season opener against Chicago Sept. 7.

"We're going to ease them into things gradually as we go and probably get them going," Dungy said. "Really strong those last two weeks of camp."

I hope that both players get healthy and are ready to go when the Titans play them but I wouldn't read too much into that because that sounds an awful lot like the political BS that Fisher gives us fans about his players.

Dungy wants to put as much mystery in the air about both of those players for obvious reasons. My take on it is that Dwight Freeney will not be the same dominant player, he can still be a very good but not what he was pre injury. Marvin is Marvin and even if he isn't healthy he can still beat you with his experience and route running.

I would gameplan as if they were going to be there, and then it would be easier to make adjustments if they weren't.
