The cowboys could match last years total of Pro Bowler again. Man! are they loaded at every position except for WR, but u have an ALL PRO and a few vets here... oh and Witten with Martellus Bennett!!!! I see the boys going 14-2 this year

Expect Phillips to be gone after the season. Not what I think but what one DMN sports writer thinks.

"Expect Wade Phillips to be gone next season

01:22 AM CDT on Wednesday, July 9, 2008

This is not a make-or-break season for coach Wade Phillips, though I happen to think it's his last season.

He'll either take this team loaded with talent and win the Super Bowl and ride off into the sunset afterward. Or the Cowboys will fall short of their goal, and Jerry Jones will give him a golden parachute to leave so he can promote Jason Garrett.

The Cowboys' offensive coordinator, the NFL's highest-paid assistant coach, turned down head coaching jobs in Atlanta and Baltimore last season. It's hard to believe he would turn down the opportunities he's sure to get at the end of this season, provided the Cowboys have the high-powered offense everyone anticipates.

This is not so much a knock on Wade as it is a reality of the situation. Jerry eventually wants Garrett to be the head coach, and there's nothing wrong with that.

It's better for Wade to leave a year or two early than for Jerry to lose out on Garrett, if he truly thinks the Cowboys' offensive coordinator will be a terrific head coach."

:cool:In my truely honest opinion, with their almost perfect roster and our Texans completed roster. I want this year to be the most unforgetable Super Bowl ever with the Houston Texans vs. the Dallas Cowboys. So... there is a sick reason to root for them just b/c I would like to see a Texas showdown like no other.

I love watching the Cowgirls have a great season and then fail in the playoffs . I almost get as much joy out of that as I do watching the Texans win .

Que ? lol .

I would actually rather have the girls go 0-16 every season, but if they do make the playoffs, its fun to watch them fail .........

I look for them to go 10-6 and make a wild card and then lose to Seattle in the first round. And like it was said earlier their is no competition in the NFC at certain positions.

Man the Cowboys are so awesome! They have the most talent in all of NFL history and Jerry Jones is the greatest owner of all time. I really love the blue star logo too, I mean has there ever been a more original logo to symbolize sports greatness? Did I mention how super hot the cheerleaders are? You know they're so famous they go all over the world........blah blah blah blah blah.
