Wow, AJ is the highest rated receiver and Mario has a 97 rating? That is AWEEEEESSSSOOMMEEE!!!:D Although, im not sure if you can give Amobi a 92. I think he'll have a great year, but unless he produces like 12 sacks or something i think he's more of a 85.

AJ is the Texans highest rated receiver but not the highest in the game. Moss is rated at 99

Thank god the raised Jacoby's speed rating. I can't tell you how annoyed I was in Madden 08 with the slowness of Jacoby's punt and kick return speed. I always had to swap him with Davis to get decent yardage.

Seems like they made Kris Brown a lot better. Kick power at 96 and accuracy at 90. Last year, it was impossible to make 40 yard field goals with him.

MOST OVERRATED PLAYER: RB Ahman Green (82 OVR)
I don’t think it’s a big argument to say that Ahman Green is way past his prime. He departed from Green Bay years ago to try and help the offense in Houston. Ahman is 31 this year and has been on a sharp decline. Being 31 playing running back is insane with as much of a beating he has taken

I love madden to death, but I wish they would research a little better.

Weary will be the starting guard not brisal. They called Winston, Winton(maybe a typo). I think Sage should be better. That guy played his @ss off last year. There is probably more that I don't agree with, but that is all for now.

I downloaded the demo this past Friday. I had waited along time to play it too, and what a letdown. Its just something about the new look and the control scheme that bugged me. The Madden IQ thing was pretty cool I guess, its looks real nice in HD. The absence of sliders is going to turn a few folks off, but I guess thats what the IQ thing is for, it adjust the difficulty based on how you do on the test. If you want it to be easier, just do crappy on the test, lol. In 08 I played on All-Pro with a few adjustments to the sliders(I raised all the computer's AI to 85, and left mine at all 50's), it played tough but not too tough for leisure play. A roster update for 08 would be cool with me, rather than play 09 from what I have sampled so far. Its a demo, so maybe the full version will be better, at least I hope.

I have the greates wife in the world. I am supposed to be working on my Master's thesis, and she didnt mind that I picked it up last night and played a game.

I took the test and played online where I was chllenged by every Cowboy and titan fan as soo as I got on there. The Titan fan I picked was all right, but we played in a blizzard in Nasville. It was cool but I could see a **** thing and it was hard to get my guys to catch anything. I think the test applies to online play and equalizes your skill to your opponent. SO I recommend you do not take the test for online play because if you get rated as an all pro your opponent may have AI help while you do not.

Overall the game is exciting and I cant wait to get home, I am sure I can convine wife I have beeen working hard all day instead of spending time here.

Look me up. on ps3 Spurstexanstros, battleredrising and Texansrising. Your record starts over on Madden 09 because it is a totally different game.

They should be about 60 on ebay. You also could order a long ethernet cable and just plug it into your new router like I do. Depending on where your router is.

Yep I did that too. I have a 50 ft Ethernet cord going through my house to my router. I got it for dirt cheap so I figured I would use that.

I am playing on all pro and I am 7-1. Did you change Colvin to a DE so he goes up to a 99? I am having a lot of trouble running the ball, but AJ always seems open and the defense plays very well. Schaub seems very accurate. I think I have like 18 tds and 5 int in 8 games. Odd...

How do you change colvin to DE and how do you make roster changes remain for online play.

Try going to Kevin Walter. I have noticed that both the AI and live players tend to focus on AJ and Owen. KW is always open around first down marker. Kw is a beast in this game.

Have yall noticed they made it harder for those who scramble and make impossible throws ... like most Titan and Cowboy fans. I love how they make you rely on Timing. It does frustrate me the lack of seperation Aj gets. Like I said I need a first Im look Kw 's way.

If you log on to play online it updates your roster and puts Colvin on there as like a 87 or something.

I've noticed if you put AJ in the slot (especially on third down) and have him go across the middle out of shotgun he is always open. My last game he had 23 catches for 302 yards. Granted, my goal was to throw to him every time, but still, it was fun.

The game is really pretty realistic though. I played the first pre-season game and sim'd the rest. Started the first game agains pittsburg and Ahman Green got injured in the first quarter.

After trying Chris Brown, he sucks on the game, I went to Chris Taylor, I'm just hoping he plays as good this season as he is on Madden cause dude is a beast. I have found that pretty much all the WR's other than AJ, are often very open. And Owen Daniels is my go to go anytime on 3rd and 5 or so.

Colvin is just nasty and I have Adibi starting opposite greenwood, Okoye is a beast too.

AJ 4 rec./4TDs/ 194 yrds. I used Aj on 2nd/3rd and short (2-4yrds.) audibled out of a trap run to shotgun 4 wide slot post twice. Result Aj wide open by 20 yards 2 TDS. Also audible out of runs on a blitz to weak close TE fade, Daniels wide open all the time. If interested.

Well, in 08, if you read the scouting report for the week. It says something like Brown has poor instincts that cause him to get rattled and miss alot of kicks.

Fb flare works really good against eiter man, zone, or blitz. If its man throw to AJ ,zone roll out then throw to AJ near marker. If its a blitz throw to full back. (hint: if you are in a spread formation audible to Fb flare and Andre Davis will line up as fb. If they blitz they are toast cause he is wide open and has alot more speed.) Great day today. 5-2 both accounts

Looks like when that first update comes out or the next update that comes out they will have to adjust those Texans defensive player ratings. No more Mario @ 97 and Okoye @ 92 and Ryans @ 95 or 96, whatever he is;)

Kris Brown isn't good enough, Sage should be a 83 or 84, Schaub should be an accurate passer, Jacoby should have his carrying and catching at -5, AG should have his injury at -12432.

Demeco should be a smart linebacker weapon as well as the master tackler he is, his speed should go up as well, he was all over the field tonight.

The O-linemen are completely snubbed and Davis as a 80 something on kick return... NFL record holder... Jeez.

After these preseason games, if there was a consistency rating schaub should go down.

I guess I'll just edit the rosters myself, like most of us will have to, no respect I tells ya, no respect.
