looking to get opinions on what i should do to get to the games this year...im debating whether to pay $200 for season parking in the maroon lot or pay $15/game at the Fannin park and ride and taking the MetroRail(another $2 roundtrip/per person and there are two of us)...the walking distance seems the same by looking at the map but i could be wrong...what do you guys think?

I think that depends on if you want to tailgate or not. If not, take the rail.....

I've taken the train several times and it worked out great. When I did, I parked in the museum district at MFAH and paid $5 to park, caught the train at the door, and arrived at the stadium in about 25 minutes. The wait after the game is only about 20 minutes. Can't beat if for the price.

Remember, on Sundays, you can park at any unreserved meter along the streets of downtown and not have to put coins in (in other words, for "free"). You could then take the train down to Reliant Park Station and only have paid $1.00 per person each way.
I usually park on Franklin Street right at the Preston Rail Station. Has worked out great for me.
