View Full Version : Got irritated today.
I'm off on Mondays so my daughter and I were out goofing off in town. We decided to go to the mall here in Tyler. I went into Champs to see what jerseys they had on display. No Texans. none. They had Cowboys(of course), VY, Bush, and Tomlinson. Are you kidding me? I went up to a lady working there and she asked could she help me. I said no Texans huh? She looked at my Texans shirt I had on with a puzzled look on her face and said no. I kinda brushed her off and said okay. When she seen her store was about to lose business she was like Well we might be getting some in as it gets closer to the season. I thought to myself... Really? 12 days from pre season? Really? You got Bust and Doung, but you dont have a team from Texas? I dont get it. I seriously dont. I live in Texas and shouldnt have to buy a team from heres gear on line. You can go in a store in Houston and buy Cowboy crap, but cant buy Texans stuff anywhere else outside of Houston? I just dont get it.

hahahahaha. Naw I know it's not her fault, but it is still irritating.
Ya same crap down here, but I posted somewhere that I went to Foot Locker in the mall of all places and they had Texans Jerseys out the Wazoo, from size small all the way up to XXXL. And they had Green, Schaub, Johnson, Ryans, & Williams. And they had all 3 variants on some of those names.

You know, that really does piss me off. I know the Cowboys are the super-bowl contenders, but stores like that need to give the Texans respect. It's like no one cares, even though many places in Texas begged for Houston to get a team back, and i think that is also a slap in the face of Bob McNair, he worked really hard to bring us another team and it's like no one appreciates it. Oh well, guess those people are pretty darn excited about watching the Cowgirls get knocked out again due to a playoff-choking Tony Romo.;)

KC? Really? Nationwide sounds good to me.;)
I'm here in South Florida and I see quite few Mario Williams and Andre Johnson jerseys. A.J. is no surprise since he's a proud product of the 'canes.
on a separate note:
This one time while flying back to houston, I sat next to an ex-WR for the 'canes. We talked for 2 hours about how badass A.J. was, hehe. He said up till now (2006) people at Miami are still talking about him. They said he was a perfect role model of hardwork + talent.

Well yeah, we do need to keep in mind that places outside of Texas do respect the Texans, we just don't acknowledge it because we expect to see it here, and obviously we should!
