I think he is holding out. He should still be under contract if I remember correctly. Plus I don't need we need another used back.

Just to answer your question. No, #1. He's under contract with the Rams(thru 2008) so we'd have to trade for him(and afford him) and they'd have to be willing to trade him. #2. The cap hit we'd also take for cutting Green and Brown.

Are you kidding me? There is no way the Rams are going to let him go anywhere but he is a stud. If it were at all possible, I say hell ya.

Well, if I am reading everything correctly, it sounds like the concerns for Green and Brown are the durability questions. If healthy and on the field they are more than capable of leading this running game. So it seems that most people are not questioning ability.

IMO, Taylor and Walker are showing that all they need is a chance. So, I am comfortable with our RBs. If Green and or Brown go down then I believe that Taylor or Walker will pick it right up. Don't get me wrong here. I am not calling for Taylor and Walker to be moved ahead of Green and Brown. I believe that Kubs and Co. know what they are doing and they will play the ones that give us the best chance to win. I TRUST THIS STAFF.

Making a major trade at this point is just unsettling. I think we have the tools right now and I wouldn't want to go bringing in new people in the middle of camp UNLESS we have some major injuries and again I trust that Kubs and Smith will do what is best for this team.

I left this part out. I have not forgotten about Slaton. I am excited about this kid. I just don't think he is the "starter" RB type. That's ok. I believe that he is a dangerous weapon and I look forward to see how Kubiak uses him. I do have a concern about ball security but I am sure the coaching staff is addressing that.

I agree 100%. But with the right teaching and worth ethics, he could prove to be a valuable assest to the team in year 2 once he has learned the system and the pro in's and out's. I think he reminds me of Mike Rozier (sp?) when we got him back in the days of the Oilers. Or at least I hope so, we have been needing a running back for awhile now...

what if we traded some of our cheerleaders for some that cheer in the third quarter...and a late round draft pick?

that is pointless imo..we are more than set at rb..green/brown old injury prone guys but with talent. darius Walker, a diamond in the rough. Slaton, a reggie bush type back..meaning a great 3rd down back.
