All five of those players are better than any of our tight ends, so yes.

Looks right to me. Until Daniels plays the whole year without getting hurt - like all those other guys did - there will be "durability questions".

Seems fair to me. Our guys haven't really established themselves yet, but there's certainly potential and talent there.

top five:::1a. antonio gates chargers
1b. tony gonzales chiefs
3. todd heap ravens
4a. Dallas Clark
4b. Owen Daniels Texans (5 games no catches, 2 due to injury and 2 he didn't start, 3 other games with only 3 catches.) Essentially he had 4 games with 3 cathches for 21yards 1td and 8 games with 31 cathces and 331yards and 4tds. The question here is whos and how much of their inconsistincey had to do with the 4games 3catches(thrown to 9 times for 3catches) Owen or David.
4c. Heath Miller Steelers (2 games no catches, 2 games with only 2 catches) see the comparison below, I'd have to say Owen's as good as Heath)

7. kellen winslow browns - Injury prone (he's missed 30 of a possible 48 games)going into the season injured(recovering from 2 surgeries 1 being Microfracture on his knee wich takes 16-24months to get back to 100% if its completely successful).[ see Jason Kidd, Omare Stoudamire, Chris Webber- i know it's not the same sport but both are hell on your knees]. He could be 1c, he should be 1c, he would be 1c but he's not, he has a laundry list of problems from A to Z.

Little hard to rate our TE's yet, since Carr kept forgetting they were eligible receivers.

Wachoo talking' bout with this "eligible receiver" gibberish? We all know that a TE is a skinny O-lineman, good only for double-teaming DEs.

Browns better hope Winslow can avg more than the 6 games a season he's done his first 3 yrs...

remember OD's QB was a carr in reverse who never could find open receivers. considering that #9 is not bad.
Proud adopter of ZAC DILES (this guy is going to supprise a lot of people this year)

Well, he took every snap last season. Maybe someone took the keys to his motorcycle.

Well, he took every snap last season. Maybe someone took the keys to his motorcycle.

But he only played in 2 games the 2 years prior. And the Microfracture knee surgery(Same knee he tore the ligaments in previously) will more than likely limit and shorten his career(he was limited to stationary bike and some solo running drills in mini-camp as for training camp he's expected to have limited participation). It's supposed to be a 4month recovery, took 8months for C.Webber to return to the court and he's a shell(lost his explosion and hops) and took a few years to feel right. Penny Hardaway never returned to form. O.Stoudemire took 6 months to return then ended up missing most of the season, then returned to form in the 06-07 season. Terrel Davis, Patrik Jeffers, Courtney Brown, Marcus Tubbs. John Randle, Kenechi Udeze, Eric Swann, Andre Wadsworth, Stephen Davis and DeShaun Foster are some football players who have had it and only Foster and Randle(Udeze, Tubbs, and Winslow are undetermined) were able to return to form(Stephen Davis played in 5 games after his surgery his stats were: 91rushes 292yds 3.2avg 7tds).
NOTE: Andre Wadsworth is attempting a comeback in 2007(Jets ) after multiple surgeries. Played 98-2000 was injured in 99 had his first surgery after the 2000 season, didnt play again and was released in 2002. Returned and signed with the Jets 03/26/2007-present
