Hey everyone, if you have Sirius Radio they will be doing a live broadcast from the Texans training camp on Thursday. I have Sirius, but I am trying to figure out how to record it. The broadcast will staart at 12pm central time. There doing their 32 live broadcast for each team. I have listened to pieces from Jags, Broncos, Seahawks and it very good. They bring on players, coaches, G.M Etc. It should be great.
I will do some research on recording it. (I have work tomorrow) I think they may do a replay as well.

We have a "Texans on the Air" page on our site that provides a listing of all scheduled radio/TV broadcasts featuring our team. It's a bit hard to find on the site, so here's the link. (http://www.houstontexans.com/news/TexansontheAir.asp)
On this page, you can check the date, time, player/team affiliate being interviewed, radio station (with link), show (eg The Jim Rome Show) and a brief description of the appearance. You'll be able to listen to many radio appearances online on a station's website.
Today, Mario Williams will be on The Jim Rome Show, Alex Brink will go on air with a Seattle radio station and on Sirius, Vic Carucci and Gil Brandt will host 10 Texans live from the Methodist Training Center.
Please let me know if you have any questions. We had updated this page scantly in the past, but our players and coaches have a much more regular media schedule during the season so this page should be updated quite often starting now.

Don't have Sirius but I can assure you that Carucci and Brandt were interviewing our guys throughout the mid-day hours. If they haven't aired it yet, it'll come eventually.

I have Sirius, so I'm even angrier about the merger. I hope and pray that XM won't screw Sirius up.:cool:

I've had both. The only reason I kept Sirius is NFL Channel. If XM had NFL on, I would have given sirius the boot long time ago.

I'll agree to disagree with you guys. XM is just as bad as all the 10-song ClearChannel stations out there, except they have 20 song playlist instead. They also have a bad habit of "accidentally" airing commercials on their "commercial free" music stations.
Since I've switched to Sirius I never hear the same song twice on the same day (unless I'm listening to the Hits channel), and I've never heard a commercial once on a music channel. Sirius plays a much wider selection of music than XM does.
If you only listen to XM for a few minutes at a time you'll never notice the problem, but I had a 1.5 hr commute to work. I got sick of the playlists repeating.

You might be right because I usually listen to sports or talk radio. But XM seems to be more family friendly than other sirius

I typically listen to sports radio when I'm by myself too, but sometimes when they get stuck on one topic (like the Brett Favre epic) I have to switch to something else. And my wife likes to listen to music when we're both in the car.
I will also concede the point about XM being a little more family friendly, but that's only because Sirius doesn't bleep their songs. With both services you can block the more adult oriented stations if you want to.

I have XM as I have stated and not once have i heard a commercial on their commercial free stations. I think you are mistaken their radio ID checks they have. You have to have a radio ID check because FCC says so.

Dude I think you are spreading lies. You must of ordered a clean channel or something. I have been a member of XM for two years and never heard such a thing.

No, I'm not talking about radio ID checks. I've heard commercial ads on the music stations plenty of times.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to say here, but let me try restating what I'm saying:
In the year I had XM they always played the radio edited (clean) version of songs. Sirius plays the unedited versions of songs - curse words and all.

So does XM.
