Nice read. I really hope Ahman can put together a big season for us. I was a big supporter for bringing him here and I'm still confident he can produce on the field.

I am pretty nervous about our RB group, because it seems to me that Ahman, Brown and Taylor are each experienced, but coming off injuries. On the other hand, Walker and Slaton are inexperienced and small, but injury free.

How confident are you that we have a RB who can stay in there and perform in 2008?

My confidence lies more in Alex Gibbs's ability to get production from just about any running back that lines up in the back field, so it takes SOME of the burden off of not having a clear cut home run guy. Obvioulsy at some point we will need to look to land a premier RB that can shoulder most of the load but we've got some talented backs that are capable as a group.

Can they stay healthy enough to make a significant impact? That remains to be seen but there are very few RBs in the NFL these days that aren't coming off of injuries, that's why it's important to have several that can produce.
