Great piece on Rick Smith

Eric J. Solis of the Battle Red Blog (http://www.battleredblog.com/), a popular Texans blog, recently posted a touching story about our general manager, Rick Smith.

In a spur of the moment decision at an open training camp practice, Smith gave a young fan a memory to last a lifetime (http://www.houstontexans.com/news/blogs.asp?blogger_id=16) - and an incentive to succeed in school.

Is it too late for me to give Mr. Smith some of my old report cards from when I was a straight A student in elementry? But that is a cool story. Its good to know he is such a class act and does not need cameras around when he does a good deed like that. I'm glad I adopted Rick Smith for the 08 season!!!
