I've played everything related to it. I'm an EA hater because I've seen to slow decline of the quality of products over the years that have come from them. Don't argue with me, I know they're evil. I have plenty of horror stories about employees being bought out by EA, used, then dumped to be replaced by a low income grad student...

But I'm a PC Madden gamer, and everyone's stuck with Madden 08 so I don't have a choice. But I won't be buying it for the console as well like I've done every year.

If any thing you would think they would use the PC version to push the limits. Especially with the average computer being about as/if not more powerful as a console up to the more expensive gaming rigs.

One thing better about the PC is I can run it at 1680x1050 resolution on my 22" LCD (5000:1 CR) LCD. :D

I don't have a monitor any more, our computer is part of the living room entertainment center. I sit on the couch with a wireless keyboard and play games on the 63" Plasma and use my laptop for surfing.

I'm a PC gamer as well and I've been playing madden ever since it was released for the PC, but now they're pulling the plug on us so I won't be buying any console copies in the future either. I'll stick with my '08 copy where I've already won 5 Super Bowls and single handedly changed the course of history for Peyton Manning. ;)

btw....Vince Young hasn't so much as sniffed a playoff game or a Pro Bowl.

i buy about every other or every 2 years. I had 2007 didn't get 2008 and just bought 2009. They games are pretty similar from yr to yr, but that is y i buy every other yr

I have 08, and see no real need to get 09. I have watched the videos of both game play and reviews. It seems to be 08 with an updated roster and the new stadiums. WOW, I just use the cool little sites and alter the players(like Mario) to the current years game. Sometimes you have to cut the "real" player from the team and bring in the created(annoying at 1st till you finish revamping). Then, i'll go rent NCAA and play 2 seasons(simulate) and then ad THAT draft class, it's normaly pretty close to who is in the draft.

1 question, I can't find Leach on 08. He isn't a FA, and hard as I look, still yet to see him on any team. Is he on the game?


Side note:
It was nice to grab Walker as a FA for dirt cheap...he has a decent burst in the game. Now, if we can just up his speed in the real world.:D

haha i hear ya on walker, picking him up was the first thing i did when i started the franchise, within one offseason he was like 82 overall and the starter, made it to the probowl also

ahh a fellow brother who hates EA as much as I do. I started way back when EA bought out Westwood studios and dumped the first space MMO called EArth and Beyond. They made me a hater and especially what they did to some employees.
