Broadcast of Pre-Season Games

Last fall I became a Sunday Ticket (DirecTV) subscriber for the first time. That means I missed the pre-season. Heading into my first slate of pre-season games, I'm wondering if the Sunday Ticket covers pre-season games for fans outside the local market (I'm in Denver) or where you can see the pre-season games with DirecTV. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me with this.

The preseason games have been broadcast locally in Houston on KTRK channel 13 abc. They will be broadcasting the games here in Houston.

The Ticket doesn't get you any pre-season games, but you will get the ones that are shown on the local chanels and NFL Network channel. Depending on where you live and who is playing will dictate whether you see the Texans. When I lived in CO, the only way I saw the Texans was when they played the Broncos in pre-season.

I'm not 100% sure about this but I believe the NFL Network broadcasts all of the preseason games, just not live. You should be able to see every Texans game, but you may have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. I checked the NFL network TV schedule and it doesn't have anything posted yet about the August line-up. Check the NFL network web page (link off of NFL.com) later this month and they should have a schedule showing when each week the games will be broadcast.

NFL Network did this last year.. a few days later they would show the pre-season game.. and a couple days after that as well. So each week you will get two opportunities to DVR the game to watch. just not Live.
