Texans Ravens Tailgating

I just booked a room at the extended stay right across the street from Reliant, anyone know if I am going to be killed/mugged at all? :D We are coming up for the Ravens opener. We wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance. Anyone want to welcome a couple of out of towners to some tailgating? We will bring lots of beer, in exchange for food! Also is there anything else to do around there as far as nightlife? Any sportsbars or restaurants nearby?
