After this performance, I wonder what a Titans fan take on this is. I would guess deep deep sorrow, with mild panic. The guy can't hit **** . I think he completed his first 3 passes and has since gone 1-10. Maybe the direct snap to lendale and Cj isn't such a bad idea after all. Wait they still have Kerry Collins. He torched us in the game at Reliant last season.

Now a 56 yard FG for the Raiders. 10 - 7 Raiders at the half. Oh and I noticed that CJ had 2- 15 yard runs. But only playing against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

You have to remember VY had that 4 yard run while Kerry doesn't have that mobility.
Also VY just knows how to win. Watch him motivate his team from the bench for this win. I can't handle the Vinceanity.

I like how the announcer said "I can't believe Jamarcus Russell outplayed Vince Young, in my opinion." Does he really have to say in his opinion? It's a fact.
10/17 > 4/13
75 yds > 37 yds
1 td > 0 td

Yea, the entire Titan's team looks terrible right now. I haven't seen the o-line look this bad in awhile. I know the starting LT is out but they look pathetic, especially at pass blocking.
The D looked horrible also. I was overall happy with the secondary considering that Harper, Thorton and KVB were out and KBull came out pretty early.
Vince looked terrible on national telivision tonight but he didn't get any help at all from the line or his receivers. I can't believe all of the blitzes that Kiffin was throwing out tonight. Wow, it's only preseason but more power to him. There were several plays where a blitzer came unblocked and allot of people forget that the Raiders had a very underrated D last year. Their offense was the problem.
The play calling was very conservative tonight because TN thrives on TEs and they didn't call allot of plays were they got the ball. I think this game was a WR audition.
Whiskeyrbl, I think you meant that CJ did that with TN's second stringers in. The entire Raiders starting team played the whole first half. He did drop too many balls though.

I'm sitting here in my chair yelling at the TV like it's regular season. I liked that run Chris Henry had in the third...

at least our made of glass qb can throw the ball  but seriously, lt ooked pretty bad out there, the run game was pretty good tho, CJ might be a homerun hitter it seems like but the question is can he produce runs like this in the nfl.

Vince Young still looks uncomfortable: Young followed up a shaky preseason week 1 start with an even shakier week 2 outing, going 4-of-13 for 37 yards. Young just couldn't find a rhythm, badly over-and-under throwing a number of receivers. He was helped by a couple of dropped interceptions by the Raiders.

bennett will have fun with him during the regular season =D

He was pretty bad but they were getting constant pressure on him and when they didn't have pressure on him, he was so rattled because of it that he got "Carr" syndrome and thought they were all over him so he just forgot all of his footwork and just threw the ball.
The pass protection was bad and I don't understand why Dinger was calling plays that sent the TEs and Rbs out for passes when it was obvious that the Raiders were going to bring the heat all the game.

This game was an audition for QBs and WRs to get a measure on the passing game...it obviously needs some major work...VY needs a quality veteran WR to work with him...he will never be a 65% passer, he is being counted on to not make mistakes and to manage the offense. This is the key for the Titans to win along with their defense. The problem lies in his inability to be consistent and this comes from bad mechanics. Once they get over trying to change him to be more of an "NFL QB" and cater their offense to suit his abilities he will be fine...bottom line is either he will prevail or fail (fail meaning being mediocre). The Raiders look better than last year but that aint saying much...

I'm waiting to see what all of us can come up with. Here are mine...
1. The O-line didn't block
2. The receivers sucked
3. The grass was too long
4. His shoes were tied too tightly
5. He scraped his throwing elbow
6. It's only his third year
I'm tired of hearing excuses for the guy. 4-13 in a preseason game vs. a team of special olympians is unacceptable. Footwork, absolutely pathetic, he resembled a running back trying to trow trick passes more than he did a starting QB. Here are the facts he is inaccurate, you can't teach that, despite what you may think. He's been playing QB for how many years, and he still can't deliver the ball accurately? When do you think that is going to change exactly... this year, next year, in 5 years. Hate to break it to you but if it hasn't happened yet it is never going to. He cannot read a defense, that is easily proven when he cannot recognize his hot reads in the face of a blitz... still. I have no idea why Fish is not playing VY more, he obviously needs the work. For starters, I would play Vince until he throws a **** TD pass, but I'm sure that's too much to ask for.

News flash there aint no veteran reciever that would want to play with vince. Word is he has the same dedication to studying game film that David Carr had which is once practice is over its over time to go home.

'even our 1st string receivers couldnt get open, the raiders defence is tough!'
slaton could be the number 1 receiver on the titans...haha
I only saw the tip end of the game but the kid that caught two passes...his name started with an E...he made some pretty good catches.
Of course I'm sure that was against less than steller corners but he made a nice sideline catch.
They are a team that is going to...going to...have to rely on their defense.

Biren Ealy from U of Houston.. he's a 4, 5, or 6th receiver on the team..
He made some nice catches there at the end of the game. Thanks for the information.
I only saw the last 5 minutes of that game.
Thanks again. Hope he makes it in the NFL if not with the Titans.
