Why not trade some of our deep talented position players? Like maybe a lower WR, Safety, and LB? Clump a few together and then we can pull Fred off the IR to boot! :)

Good idea... how about: Jacoby, Green, Faggins, and a 7 pick??? thats right, for some reason, not gonna happen

I say we trade Faggins, Ahman Green, Chris Brown, Colvin, Matt Stevens, Stacy Mack, and Milford Brown for Ronnie Brown. Parcells should throw in a 3rd rounder also to make the trade even.
J/K but I would give up a mid round draft choice for Brown.

He is recovering from a torn ACL from last season.
We don't need any more injured backs who aren't cutting it with other teams.

Up until he got injured ronnie brown was one of the top 3 running backs in the league. either way i doubt that the dolphins will trade him. him and ricky williams should make a nice 1-2 punch much like mjd and fred taylor last year.

Brown is ahelluva back when healthy. Not saying we should go after him, cuz Miami would be stupid. They than got burnt more than once betting on williams.

Man, you'd have to give them a first rounder to just to take Faggins without Brown in return.

I think we should make a trade that kinda goes along with the Favre deal..if he takes about 70% of the snaps then we send a second rounder or something like that...we're going to need our first rounder next year so that should be off limits

If we let you guys on this message board run this team and make trades for us......we would be 0-16. You act like Faggins is the reason for everything that goes bad on this team. If the guy was that bad I think he would have been gone by now. Again I will say that the opposing teams will always try to beat the weaker of the two corners. Faggins biggest problem is that he is not as talented as Dunta Robinson when he was healthy and now he is not as good as Fred Bennett. Faggins has done some good when he was playing regularly. I just feel like the guy is the scape goat for everything that went wrong downfield in the passing game. Ease up on the dude...being a corner on the island is a lonely job.

considering brown has a broken thumb and recovering from knee injury....i say we just let him be a Dolphin. If we wanted a good back we should have gone for michael turner before atlanta got him. We knew he was looking for a team. He is bonafide, not injured, and did i mention...extremely good?
Or maybe we should have gotten Mendenhall or McFaddin. I think both were options in our draft.
Let's face it...we are shoring up the line to protect our valuable QB and next year we are shoring up the RB situation. We can squeak by this year with all our backs by committee. And if by chance Ahman and Brown stay healthy and Slaton becomes a force....we still have walker and taylor to play with just in case. We could put leech back there to run his out pattern.
I think we are going to play the hand we have at RB.

Let's trade Steve Slaton and Darius Walker. Then when Chris Taylor breaks his leg again we can have Taylor, Green, Chris Brown, and Ronnie Brown all on the IR. Matt Turk is averaging 15 a carry this preseason. Alex Brink ran for a first down. Let them do the running while 90% of our salary cap is tied up in injury prone RBs who are lucky to stay on the field for 2 plays.

Haha priceless:D but theres no need for Brown when we have Slaton;) Instead of asking yourself what can (Ronnie) Brown do for you, you should be asking, what can Slaton do for you?

You should let us guys on this msgboard make trades, cuts etc for this team. It is majority rules jus' like in High School in the playground *rolls eyes*...
I agree though. FFS, why do we have to go after EVERY player who is rumoured to be traded, released, available etc? Let the guys we have do the job they can this year & see if we need to worry about trading etc next year...
