But I don't care. I post on these threads occasionally, but mostly just observe...and the one constant I see from pretty much every poster is a sheer hatred for the cowboys and the titans. I completely understand that Titans, the only two losses that really had my blood boiling where the losses to The Titans, especially the second one that we should have won. But my question is, and I'm just trying to understand...

What have the cowboys done to make everyone here hate them so much? It's common to not be a fan of instate rivals....but usually its a friendly dislike...it seems like everyone really just HATES them with a passion. Is it because they used to have a lot of players with criminal records? Is it the fact they got stuck with the tag "America's team?" Is it the fans? Is it because that always overshadowed the Oilers? Maybe I don't hate them because I don't know anything about their fans...I know being a longhorn fan my whole life, we always hate the aggies...but then I started to wonder...why do I hate the aggies? Just bc its the only instate competitor for the Longhorns? I don't know I just have to have a really good reason to hate a team. TO is annoying but I respect his ability as one of the top receivers, Romo is fun to watch...he reminds me of Favre and Favre was always my favorite QB back in his prime.

I'm not saying I'm a Fan, there's only about two teams I hate enough to root for the cowboys to win and thats the titans and the bengals. Most my family lives in Dallas, and that city is like a second home to me, but my roots are here and the Texans are my team, I just really want to understand why everyone hates the Cowboys so much as to start threads just saying that...I don't like them but I keep it at a rival standpoint, not a personal thing.

Personally, if it's bc they have low class fans, I don't think its very classy for us to be starting threads about how the cowboys suck. First of all that's hypocritical and its not even true. They might choke in the playoffs but they don't suck...theres only two teams in the NFC that can legitimately claim to be a better team and a handfull in the AFC. So why do our fans hate them so much?

Too close to game time and I'm pumped up, I don't feel like demonstrating my point! :D

The Texans will do it for me ;)

Oh believe me, I'm pumped up to see the Texans squash the cowboys like we did last year...and will not be happy if its anything less than a decisive win...but I'll take the W either way...

But I want to re-iterate incase I didn't make my point clear...I'm 100% Texans through thick and thin and will never root for the cowboys....thats like being a hardcore conservative and rooting for Obama. Or visa versa with Mccain...

Another one of these threads, there is too many reasons for the hate.Wherever you're from for whatever reasons if you're from Houston and you're a current Texans fan there is no reason to like the Turds pure and simple.Cowboys fans talk s#!t then ask why you hate them like you're of no value of their time.Screw that I'm out.

The list of why I don't hate the Cowboys is shorter:

Marion Barber. Dude is just a baller.

But truthfully the Texans and Cowboys are complete opposites. I love being associated with a team built on class, unlike the cowboys as you said. That's my number one reason. Jerry Jones is a tool who will bring in any piece of crap as long as it gets the W. That team doesn't have the solid coaching that can win a championship without classless players, so they bring any piece of filth they can to piece together a winning team.

Second yes the fans. I stated in another post 90% of the Cowboy fans out there are bandwaggoning tards who don't know crap about the game. They are the worst fans in the league they run their mouth at how great their team is and the have no realistic vision. Then when the cowboys are losing they are nowhere to be found. I could go on and on but this thread is killing my gameday buzz. So eff the cowboys and their fans!

LETS GO TEXANS!!!!!!

I never said I like them, and I don't even open threads if its started by a cowboy fan, and I don't look at their message boards so really I'm naive to what kind of fans they have..and I'm a TEXANS fan...I have reasons to be a cowboys fan...family lives there, my dad's company even built their new stadium, but I'm a Texans fan for life, and don't question my loyalty to this team either...I only live here so I can watch my team every sunday. Otherwise I woulda moved to Dallas a long time ago...just didnt want to live my rival's city.

Are you serious about asking this question????

They are a down the freeway rivalry. Pure and simple. If it's not the cowboys, then its the Mavericks. That is just the way 2 cities in the same state are. It doesn't matter who is better over the years or any of that crap. Our very first Season win came against them and tht is something I will never ever let a Cowboy fan forget. Cowboy fans are very arrogant. They think there poop doesnt stink. Well I got news for them...:p

Marion Barber. Dude is just a baller.

Yes he is. I love to watch him run. It's too intense.

As to all of the other stuff...
I don't hate any team. All of those players can play better than me ( David Carr excluded). I respect them for that. However, remember...IT'S A GAME. They don't pay my bills. If the NFL folded, I would still have a job.

Now, I am a very big fan of the game. I love competition. Aggies v Longhorns (I will refrain from t-sips this once), Texans v cowboys: Its all in fun for me. I love when the Texans and Ags win. I also like for the t-sips to win too (not against the Ags). I (gulp) can tolerate a Cowgirl win too.

Just remember.. It's a game.

Gig em Texans.

Their fans - plain and simple. They are a arrogant group of SOBs. To me it is one thing to cheer for your team, but it's another to relish in the struggles of another team. I don't hate their team at all. They have some excellent players and a VERY good chance at winning it all, but they have a ton of turds that support them.

We have had several Jags fans come to these boards and engage in intelligent conversation about football and our respective teams. To me this is what being a fan is about. Cheer for your team as loudly and proudly as you want but respect the other teams as well.
