Lrts see how many books Tony writes if Manning doesn't play the first 4 games this year or if they rush him back & he gets hurt.
Want to bet he will play the I want to spend more time with my family card.
Tampa must be a great place to live. Whats left of his family lives there minus him of course.
COLTS without Manning = 6-10

Sorry I put this in the wrong section.
Couldn't disagree more.
He's one of the classiest people in the NFL.

I enjoy football. But I respect Tony as a brother in Christ. That is good enough for me, the rest is just a bonus.

What's the "i wanna spend more time with my family card?"
I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend more time with my family than dealing with football...call me crazy though?
I think you are alone with this one. I want Manning to play.
Tampa is a nice place to live, though i live in Memphis. He still lives there in the offseason along with "what's left of his family"(cold)
Tony is a very classy man! I'm willing to bet he wouldn't wish any ill-wills towards the Texans. Are you nervous playing the Colts with Peyton?
Dungy is a man of Christ and nothing about him is phony...this thread is phony though!! GOTITANS!!

Yes I would rather play the Colts witout Manning.
KUBES did well without Schaub for alot of the season. I wouldn't mind seeing how Tony's Colts do without Manning for 4-5 games. It might help the Texans & Titans make the playoffs.
The point about Tony & his family is that if they mean as much as he says they do he should have retired after the SB & spent more time with them after the tragic loss of his son.

Let's examine the inane ramblings of this and your initial post. First, I don't think you are particularly insightful to suggest that the Colts would be less of a team if Manning does not play. Wow - brilliant. Guess what? The Pats would be less without Brady & Dallas would be worse off without Romo. If you take one of the best players in the league away from their team, they will not be as good as when they are when that guy is playing. Also the comparison to the Colts without Manning & the Texans last year without Schaub is really, really off base. Let me clue you in - the Colts suck in preseason when Manning plays.
And as for the mind-numbingly stupid comment about "what's left of his family." Are you really that cold? I mean that is a remarkably vile thing to say about any person who has gone through what he & his family did. And I find it comical in the post above that you think you know what is best for Dungy & his family.

Well, we had the chance to sweep the Colts last season except for a dropped pass in the 1st game's final second. Titans play Colts close with Peyton so it makes no difference whether he's there or not. But I think we all know the answer as to how the Colts would do without Peyton...
About his family, that's no point. So you're saying, you'd quit your job because you lost a loved one? You dont know how much time he spends with his family. It's conceivable that they travel to Indy and to the away games every week. It's pointless when you have no actual facts about the man...

You obviously have some sort of problem/dislike of Coach Dungy and that's your choice but you might want to refrain from talking about his private life.
His son was lost to suicide and that is HIS family's choice to deal with that loss as they see fit...not yours.
Your own words seem very cold. Perhaps if the situation were reversed you'd have a different mindset.
