I was gonna put it in the Bull Pen but anyways, word is out there that the Seahawks might cut him and the Texans might be looking at him or should look at him. Take it for what its worth, or perhaps not worth.

"(UPDATE: Tuesday, August 26) - Talks and conversations are floating all over the NFL. The Seahawks are about to release RB T.J. Duckett. Rumors and reports have indicated that the Texans should look into it (if they haven't already). Former coach Dan Reeves was doing an interview yesterday on Sirius satellite radio and he mentioned that he didn't feel Duckett was an Alex Gibbs system-type guy, but Reeves felt Duckett could adapt and really help the Texans with their running game. Duckett had several very productive years in Atlanta along side Warrick Dunn."

I think Duckett, Jordan or Kenton Keith will be the complimentary back for Slaton.

LaMont Jordan? with the Pats
Kenton Keith is still with the Colts and isnt gonna get cut
and Duckett, word is still out on him to see. He may be cut in this upcoming cuts if reports/rumors are true.

I like Chris Taylor but I don't know if he has that, North South football style, I know he is working on it, and that's what Kubiak likes about him, but..Idk he doesn't have that big body to move the chains.
Green..Maybe but Duckett would do better.
I have seen him play once... he always seems to get the first on 3rd and short or 4 and short... in atlanta...

Yes, yes very true. My bad, I was just pointing out they are all on teams but yeah they all are 3rd-4th stringers on their respective teams.

If one of these backs become available which one would you like us to pick up?
Which one do you think fits the ZBS best?
I think Keith fits best IMO.

Never seen him play, but I would like Duckett if he doesn't play like he did in ATL, honestly I didn't like what I saw from him at times. BUT

Yeah Id probably say Keith. Jordan isnt as good as advertised, or well as good as he once was. Duckett reminds me of another Dayne, maybe a little better. And Keith is still fairly young(not young just coming out of college, but doesnt have miles on him like these others). And he also seems to me like that hard nosed guy who will go get you that first down. I dont know, but hey, no harm in getting players from the Colts right;)

Tj got jumped by two little white boys when he played in college.I think they knockjed his teeth out and stole his wallet.I guess they must have come up from behind him and hit him with a 2 X 4.I always think of that when I see his name

This is why he is 1st on my list.
I would settle for Jordan or Duckett.
We need to get another back because all of ours are already hurt [n the pre-season.

I wonder if this rumor/report is gonna come true. I guess depends on if Duckett is actually cut and if he is, then Im just assuming we have to cut Brown. Though even if Duckett isnt cut, we still have to cut Brown.;)

Well, Keith just got cut from the Colts. As someone said, never hurts to pick up a division rival's player.

What is Keith's height and weight? How come he got cut? Man, looking back it would've been nice to get Mike Hart instead of Alex Brink with our last pick. Mike Hart even beat out this Keith guy.
Any news on Duckett?

Bump. With Frye gone, this gets pretty interesting.

Nah nothing on the Duckett front. He's still a Seahawk but Kenton Keith is still out there.

Hart was drafted in the 6th round, Brink was in the 7th when we got him. We took Barber in the 6th. And Kenton Keith goes 5'11 198 lbs. And he got cut because he was caught up in the shuffle with all the RBs they got. Addai Rhodes Hart and then him. He was backup to Addai but they brought all those other backs in.
