In the post game notes for last nights game Kubiak indicated that he wants to keep six LBs. Diles, Greenwood, and Ryans are a solid group ( Ryans is great, Diles seems on the verge of a breakthrough, Greenwood . . .), but there isnt much behind them.

Of the remaining LBs who do you think should make it? Do you think the Texans should look to pick up a FA after cuts?

Here's what I think:

Kevis Coley has played really well. Keep him on the squad.

Chaun Thompson is a solid veteran who you have to keep or replace with an FA. If he can get healthy he's good depth.

Kevin Bentley seems like a lock, eventhough if was up to me they'd cut him. He doesnt seem to play hard. He plays like a guy whose happy to be getting a 7 year veterans check as a back up. He's backed up Tatupu in SEA and now Ryans. I'd rather have a guy busting his ace. Bentley doesnt make plays and doesnt seem to want to.

Adibi -- Practice Squad till he's well.

Moffitt -- Practice Squad. I wish he was ready to step in for Bentley, but I'm not sure he's ready or capable.

I hope the Texans look to replace Thompson (if he's still not able to play) or Bentley with a FA after Saturday. If you're only going to keep 6 LBs they all have to be able to play.

Since he is nursing an achillies and a groin injury I'm not sure that a team is going to be willing to use one of their 53 roster spots to sign him. You might be right, but the Texan's other choice is to keep him on the roster until he is well enough to play -- an according to the article even his practice time has been limited.

Yeah Adibi is a rookie with a BIG upside. He is fast, can cover, has good instincts and is a sound tackler, you don't put someone like him, a 4th round pick on the practice squad. I don't even think Adibi would make it through wavers to make it to the practice squad much less get plucked off of it.

Maybe its me but Greenwood is ok, his contract is horrible but i like the guy

Greenwood has been solid for us and is a good veteran LB for us. He makes a lot of tackles lacks in take aways which is why I think people dislike him. Adibi will eventually take over for him IF Diles pans out like the coaches are thinking he will. I hope Diles does develop into a solid starter. A LB core of Diles-Ryans-Adibi would be a fast, young LB core that would help this team for years to come.

did you even watch the game last night? i think he has been solid all TC. i think he (bentley), coley and moffit stood out last night at linebacker.
