RB - Its a need, especially considering how injury prone some of our backs are.

DE - If we find a good one, we're all set on the line

LB - Looks like we could use one more

CB - Looks like our biggest need

If you think we have bigger needs, state them and put some names in.

RB's Available -

Darius Walker HOU (we all know this guy)

Louis Rankin OAK (I saw a couple games this guy played, he stood out more than mcfadden or m.bush. I know he played more against 2nd/3rd teams, but he looked good when he got his chances) 148 - 7.0 ypc

Marcus Mason WSH (He's thick, he runs hard, he gets positive yardage) led pre-season rushing 317 - 4.8 ypc

Thomas Clayton 49ers (Like C.Taylor 220 with some speed, plus Clayton seems to have better vision) 186 - 4.4 ypc

other names - Kenton Keith, Noah Herron

Personally, I really liked what I saw from Rankin...and Mason looked pretty darned good too. I just really hope they pick up a young guy and not another old RB.

If the FO doesn't like any of those names - NYGs have 4 good backs and OAK has too many to pay for too long, I'm sure...so they could always send a pick for a back. But, I'd rather have them pick up Mason or Rankin and see what they can get out of them first.

You could argue we need another OT or OG.....I'll let the GM that gets paid scout those.

Defensive Ends

DE - Jerome McDougle PHI 6 solo 2.5 sacks
DE - Mkristo Bruce JAC 8 solo 3.5 sacks
They both rushed the passer very well in the pre-season. I'd go with the younger Bruce. 6'6 260 longs arms.

There's more available, but, I think finding a SOLID DE will be hard. At least Mkristo has the tools and youth to work with.

LB - Ahmad Brooks CIN (He's plenty big enough to play stongside as well as his usual MLB)
There are others, but if you consider on-field potential only, he's gotta be the top available.

CB - Deltha O'neal CIN (I know there's ???'s here, but you've gotta think he's better than Faggins, Reeves)

Tra Battle SD (young, but small)

Brannon Condren IND (young, can he play corner?)

Hank Poteat NYJ (Even Poteat doesn't scare me as much as Faggins does)

I rated guys with good Pre-seasons high, hopefully if they were the last cut from a deep team at those positions they can fit on our weak spots.
Please add some names, especially the defensive spots...those are harder to rate.

Other LBs available include Victor Hobson, Tim Shaw, and Anthony Schlegel.

Schlegel is a Texas boy. He's my choice.

A lot of the guys he listed are already gone or resigned with the team(to the PS)

Yeah McDougle seemed like he was in high demand, at least by the fans. Eagles must know something we dont?!

A lot of teams have been talking about him, the Eagles still released him though.

I guess they know something everyone else doesn't.

but if that's how you look at it..

Kubiak signed McClover before McDougle, maybe Kubiak knows something everyone else doesn't! ;)

I hope! :D

Ha good thinking. Gotta always think positive.:) I hope so too!

I wouldn't be too surprised to see us grab a QB somewhere. Kubiak has said he was very nervous last year about being 1 hit away from playing Owen Daniels at the QB spot.

No, if they picked up a running back that could actually run the pigskin and stay healthy, then our QB wouldn't get hit...:D
