If you are a regular on this board then this thread might be more of the same....

OFFENSE--- At the start of the pre-season there was some cause for concern for the run-game. However, on the eve of the start of the season, I believe the younger talent on this is bonafied. (remember, we made Dayne look like a stud last year.)

As for the passing game, at the start of the pre-season I felt the passing was solid and had potential for greatness. Now on the eve of the season, I believe its gonna be pure excitement.

DEFENSE--- At the start of preseason.... I felt pretty confident that we had legitimate pass rushing capabilities and that pressure would help the secondary. Now..... I have great concern for our pass rush (with the exception of Super Mario.) And the secondary was at start was also concern, but I like the signing of Eugene Wilson... kind of like last years Will Demps but more versatile cover role.

I am not so much a SPECIAL TEAMS guru, except that losing our WR special teams stud to career ending injury is going to hurt indefinitely.

Ya I feel the same way for the most part. I'm still a little concerned about our run game, but I have hopes it could be something special, especially with Slaton back there. The passing game I feel very comfortable with and I am very excited to see what we can do. And like you i share the same concerns over our defense as a whole, the lack of pass rush opposite MW, and the db situation, but I have said all along during the preseason that it is what it is the preseason, and I know things will get stepped up once we kick off in Pittsburgh

I can barely contain my excitement for that game. We will finally get a glimpse of what has been building this entire offseason, and last season when we went 8-8 with tons of injured starters. We may all be in for a shock to see what our Texans can do.

I'm still very concerned about the secondary even with the signing. I wish Molden and/or Adibi had stayed healthy.

I thought that Molden was injured. I could be wrong. Definately wouldn't be the first time.
