what are ticket sales outside the stadium like ? Lots of sellers ? Just debating whether or not to buy on stubhub or just buy from scalpers for the Indy game. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated !

Well... I have a couple of scenarios for you.
If you are coming from out of town and want to guarantee your seats to the game I would go through a ticket company... stubhub.com ebay.com etc.
Also, buying them in advance will make sure you get the section/seats you prefer without the pressure at 9a.m on the street.
Also, buying them now you will be paying more than face value, HOWEVER what happens if the Texans are 3-1, or better yet, 4-0 coming home vs. the Colts? Can you imagine the ticket prices then, 4-0 and facing the colts? OUTRAGEOUS.
Or we very well could be 1-3 and you could get a bargain or should I say "fair price" for them.
Either way, I would buy through a ticket agency or from ebay... better to have your tickets in hand on that Sunday morning than stressing and getting screwed on the location and prices.
Also, put up a post here on the message board and check back regularly.... sometime people will trade games, or sell you tickets for a decent price if things come up and they can't make it.
I would list your section preference, price, and # of seats... Good luck

It is illegal to buy and sell on Reliant property.

thanks,we will probably stubhub it as 2-2 or 3-1 will create a great atmosphere early in the year !

I have seats in the 500 and 600 sections that I will sell for just over face, as many others sell here also. Don't give Stub Hub all that extra %'s.

Personally, I wish the Houston Texans would not give out my E-Mail address to Stub Hub. It is very annoying to get SPAM from them that is unsolicited...
Why do the Texans do that? How can I remove myself from that stupid list?
Back to the question on hand... If there is a certain game you want to see, why roll the dice in hopes of maybe getting a seat? Buy tickets from a reliable sourse now while you can... Who knows what will be available come game day... Besides, it would really tick you off if you waited until game day only to buy some tickets that were no good. Let's say someone had the tickets, called in and said they lost them and had a re-print done. That makes those tickets worthless, even though they are the original tickets... Then what? You are out of money on them and already paid parking... Just some sound advice from someone who has been there way back in the days when there were actually dishonest people roaming the streets trying to make a buck off of you any way they could... Think about it.... ;)

Our group used ticketsnow.com (ticket master company) for the Indy/Texans game tickets and were very pleased w/ the prices and ease of use. Just giving an alternative to stubhub if needed.
