I've been a season ticket holder for 3yrs and have decided to not renew this year. I'll always love the Texans b/c their my home team and i'll probably grab a game here and there just for the tailgating and outing but I don't think I can sit through another year of poor decision making.
Maybe we can get first round pick next year and grab a good water boy or someone else who doesn't fill the stands or do anything worth watching.
Sorry for the vent - been a long time coming.

Gave up on the team just when it is starting to get interesting. Therfore enjoy sitting at home while real fans continue our support. The good thing about the slow start is that the real fans will be the pepole who are left and they will have the better seats.

So you were a Carr fan and now upset that he is gone? You can always watch Carolina games on television. Yes this team is going to be interesting and you are going to kick yourself in the *** for this mistake not renewing season tickets. I would get season tickets, but can't afford it. :(

LMAO
Why does it seems as if you were crying writing that post lol. I feel your pain I truly do but I have to ride with them anyway. Hey we bound to strike gold one season, but come on dude we wouldn't be that dumb to draft a waterboy, we would draft a concession stand worker (they sell hotdogs) lol

How can you conclude that he is a David carr fan from his post? I mean is there some hidden messages in the post?

...because the only people who were devoted to this team when they were 2-14, continued to follow them last year and now are finished with them, are the Carr-obsessed fans. Otherwise, why would anyone chose now as a time to jump off. Any reasonable person would clearly see this is the best team we've had- not to mention that we are young and in good cap health going forward. The only explanation for his reaction is he's bitter that Carr was thrown away.

I don't think it really have to mean that, maybe he is upset of no really big signing during the off season. Personally I have loved the Texans from 4-12, 5-11, 7-9, 2-14, 6-10. I happen to remember the feel of not having a football team and it hurts but I have disliked Carr from his inception and I will still stick it out with them until they get it right. I think he may end up regreting letting those tickets go this year if we do not have a winning season we are definately going to have some entertaining football and that's all i ask for.

Lol.. he can't....he's just another dullard.
I'm gonna follow Carr's career in Carolina and I think it's a real stupid time to give up your Texans tickets.
So many changes have been made... how can anyone predict another dismal season?

Superstar... Tell them. To be a Carr hater, all it takes is to blame anything on Carr or his fans. You don't have to point out things like complaints like on the draft picks, or that the guy never mentioned a thing about the old QB... Just yell Carr Lover if you don't agree with anything they post.

How many decades have Cubs fans gone? How many decades did Red Sox fans go? How long have the Cardinals gone without ever really putting together a competitive team? How long did the Bucs and Patriots fans go before their teams took off? How long did Oiler fans put up with it? The Saints are an on again, off again team..that has been more off than on..

it goes on and on and on.. teams with fans that have gone year after year without a winning team.

But you put in your 5 years, and im sure somewhere...someone appreciates your statement of not renewing your tickets. Personally, I dont think a real fan gives up that quick. So, its probably a good thing that you didnt renew. Thats alot of money for a part time fan to spend every year.

See ya round... probably when we start winning.

What? I don't understand this logic,or lack of at all. IMO we had one of the best drafts in recent memory last year. This year we continued a plan for this team. You build a team, not patch it up. This FO is sticking to a philosophy and I commend them for that. It may not be BSPN's idea of getting all the BIG name colledge players but getting solid, hard working, intelligent players. You'll regret giving up those tickets real soon. At least sell them to a REAL fan. I would offer but I already have season tix and would not give them up for anything, especially now. You my friend are the one making poor decisions IMO.

One thing that every new season brings is HOPE.
As in,
I HOPE we don't waste next Years #1 pick on a good waterboy!!
or
I HOPE Matt Schaub is as good a QB as Tom Brady and not the second coming of Ryan Leaf!!
or
..............( You guys fill in the blanks)
