That's a right fine stance to take here Mr. McCracken, or Ern or Big Ern.
Anyone jumping off the ship at this point just wasted a whole bunch of their time. Everyone has been crying for change, and when it comes, people are scared of it.
I can't wait for the new season and have to go get ready for my Supplemental Draft party, consisting of me, a diet coke, at my office desk hitting refresh on the sportsnews website.

I'll be honest. This time every year drives me nuts. Every July I hate myself for living outside of Houston. Maybe one of these years I'll just have to save up my vacation time and head down there for Training Camp. I can't wait to see what the Texans can do this year.
Mario is going to kill a lot of QBs this year. DeMeco is going to give em hell. And Amobi is going to blast away the rest.
GO TEXANS!!![D]

I TOTALLY AGREE 100%. THE TEXANS ARE PAYING THEIR DUES. THE TEXANS HAVE SALARY CAP ISSUES THAT ARE COSTING THE TEAM $30.00 MILLION DOLLARS IN DEAD MONEY, BUT OVER THE NEXT 2 YEARS THOSE ISSUES WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. SECOND, I AM REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE LOOK OF THE TEXANS' YOUNG ATHLETIC, AND HUNGRY DEFENSE. DeMECO RYANS, A 100% HEALTHY MARIO WILLIAMS, THE PHENOM AMOBI OKOYE, DUNTA ROBINSON, ALL OF THE VETERERANS BEING BROUGHT IN TO WORK WITH THE TEXANS' YOUTH MOVEMENT, WE ARE BUILDING SOMETHING EXTREMELY POWERFUL AND SPECIAL TEXANS FANS. CASSERLY IS GONE, AND THE FUTURE IS SOOOO BRIGHT FOR THE TEXANS. THE RUNNING GAME IS MORE STABLE, MATT SCHAUB IS GOING TO GET RID OF THE BALL ALOT FASTER THAN CARR, AND THE PROSPECT OF JACOBY JONES AND A HEALTHY OWEN DANIELS SHOULD MAKE US A FORCE IN THE AFC SOUTH. I AM POSITIVE, EXCITED, AND READY FOR THE TURNAROUND TO BEGIN. THE TEXANS ARE ON THEIR WAY TO ESTABLISHING THEMSELVES AS A PERENNIAL SUPERBOWL CONTENDER, AND WIN MULTIPLE SUPER BOWLS. I AM ALL IN FOR THIS FRANCHISE. I SUPPORT THEM 100% AND CANNOT WAIT WHEN THE MULTIPLE VINCE LOMBARDI TROPHIES START MAKING THEIR WAY TO RELIANT STADIUM YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT. I BELIEVE, AND I KNOW THAT WINNING STARTS WITH A SOLID FOUNDATION FUSED WITH THE RIGHT TALENT, AND THAT IS WHAT RICK SMITH & COACH KUBIAK ARE DOING FOR THE TEXANS LAST SEASON AND THIS SEASON-LAYING DOWN A CHAMPIONSHIP FOUNDATION WITH INCOMING DRAFT PICKS PLUS QUALITY VETERAN LEADERSHIP TO MENTOR THE ROOKIE TALENT AND DEVELOPING THE TEXANS' TALENT. WINNING TAKES TIME-SO I KNOW TO BE PATIENT YOU WILL SEE THAT THE TEXANS ARE IN THE MIDST OF TURNING THINGS AROUND AND SETTING THEMSELVES UP FOR WINNING AND PLAYOFFS AND SUPER BOWL TROPHIES.

So Curly, you gonna meet me up at the Wachovia on Fairmont Monday morning at 9am after ya leave the shop? If I'm correct we can get 6 tix to each open practice & there'll prolly be at least 5 open practices. I dunno bout you but I'll be making every practice unless my own football practice intrudes.

I only live a couple of hours away and would like to take a couple of days off to go see a practice. But alas. No Wachovia Bank here. Maybe I'll try to get a relative to score me some tickets.

Where in the valley are you? Im temporarily down in the RGV area, but it only takes me 5 1/2 hrs to get back home to Houston...I've seen more and more texan stickers pop up around the valley but still cant find a group to hang with to cheer on the Texans.

I am a 1st time poster, and thought this would be the best time to post because somebody said something that I 100% agreed with. This franchise is headed in the right direction, and I totally beleive in this new look defense. We are going to rock some people this year! I can't wait till opening day!! About the whole bad mouthing of the texans on this site! Those people need to walk the plank on the ship! LETS GET ER DONE! GO TEXANS!!!

Thank God!
It's getting old standing in my driveway yelling, "I want to see some people getting hit!!", and then picking myself up off the ground. (Not a real friendly neighborhood, especially since they are mostly Dallas fans.)
