Okay, I've been here long enough to know a lot of people start the....START sage rosenfels threads and I usually do stick behind Matt Schaub. But enough is enough. He's had his chances and he hasn't taken advantage of any of them. So I'm going to join the start sage bandwagon.

Start sage....
but when all is said and done. I'm still a Texans fan. Go Texans!!!!

Yes... Please start Sage. Matt can't take the heat, just like his predecessor. We've all watched Sage win games and handle himself like a pro. Start Sage.

I say one more game. Then that's it, and this pains me to say, start Sage and draft a QB. Our D looked good, we have WR's and a newfound RB. We need QB play before FA hits and before IR hits.

Matt isn't getting benched, just save yourself some time and stop starting up these stupid threads.

LOL, you don't think that Coach Kubs looks in here and see what we all think and jumps right off on it? LOL, these threads are a dime a dozen when something happens bad and it did. MS looked real bad, but the whole team acted like something else was on there mind other than a game of football. After the storm Ike hit us, we needed some football, and in a bad way... But not a bad way like was shown... I don't care myself... Play Sage or Matt or grab someone else off the bench... As long as I have football in my town to watch... But I hope they don't think I will keep on dropping big coins on tickets year after year without some production...

But this is why I laugh before season starts and people are all pumped up, super bowl baby, playoffs baby, too early... Kubs still needs 2 - 3 years to get the players he needs. And I know that is hard to wait on, but I predicted a season that was worse than last year's record... No 8/8 this year, bank on it...

Schaub looked and played like he was afraid. Its too early to call for his head and bench him, but he needs to snap out of it soon. He's a good quarterback and I hope he can get his confidence back.

Just for old times:

"This is for the Schaub so-called "haters" out there (especially where I work). First, by default he will be better than Carr. It would take a disaster of epic proportions to at least not meet that standard by any means...

Highly recommended by former teammates, and coaches. They already want him back, hilarious. Kubiak also knows QB talent as well as anyone, and you have to think he studied every throw the guy made in his college and pro career before pulling the trigger. Unless you think Kubiak doesn't have an eye for QB talent, the mere fact that he dumped Carr and picked up Schauab should certaintly tell you something....

Schaub alone gives me hope for this season; if we could go 6-10 with Carr at QB, just imagine what we can do with a competent quarterback under center....

Texans fans will finaly see what happens to an offense when there's a good quarterback behind the center...

Agreed, The NFL is going to be shell shocked when the Texans take the division away from Indy this year...."

I'm giving Schaub the rest of this season to prove he is the deserving starter over Sage. If he fails to do that, and returns as the starter, my focus moves to Mcnair's commitment to owning a winning franchise. Rag on Jerry Jones all you want, at least he does what it takes to win and I can respect a man like that.
