I am a five year season tickets holder and am so upset today. The Texans today really have be second guessing my love for this team. Don't get me wrong, I am not jumping the band wagon or trying to sell my current seson tickets or PSL, but I am really not understanding what is happening. I really have a lot of confidence in Kubiak, but he did a very bad job today. Besides the playing calling (which I don't care what anyone says, Kubiak does the calling, not little Shannahan), he just did a horrible job of coaching decisions. I almost think he was so aggressive today because Mike Shannahan was so aggressive at the end of the Denver/San Diego game last week. If they go for the 2-point conversion when they are down 12-14, kick a field goal at both 4th down plays in the 3rd and 4th quarter, we are down by less than a TD with 8 minutes to go. With this said, I am still behind Kubiak and will continue to be, but please do a better job of trying to keep yourself in the game. Now, onto Matt Schaub. I again have been a hugh supporter of Schaub. BUt if Matt has another bad game next week, I am all for #18 to get on the field. Schaub is not only not helping us win, but is making such bad decisions that he is helping us lose the game. I still think that Schaub is a better QB than Rosenfels, but at some point if Matt continues to struggle you have to see if Sage puts you in a better position to win. The lone bright point of this game is Steve Slanton. I love this kid. I think we might have found our RB. To all that read this, I am in the same boat as you. I love the Texans and will no matter what, watch and root for them so lets try to keep positive and hope for this season to turn around.
