Does any body remember the 2003 draft and who we almost draftted Willis Mcgahee (The Reggie Bush of 2003) The texans had all but promised to pick this guy and why not he dominated that season and looked like a future HOFer lmao....up until that horriable hit that makes my stomach turn every time i see a replay. Then all of the sudden Andre Johnson was our Man I have to admit i was one of the people that was mad @ the injury but look at how it worked out Dre is a pro bowler/ Franchise WR Mcgahee is a average RB it's just funny the way things turn out

Man, you really should change the title of that thread - pretty bad taste to say you are thankful someone was injured.

Yeah and Colston was available when we took David Anderson........... hindsight is 20-20 I guess.

True But Anquan Boldin was the Colston of that draft no one really thought he was gonna be that special

funny you say mcgahee is the reggie bush of '03 and that thes an average RB in the NFL becuase mcgahee is accualy a much better RUNNING BACK than bush will ever be...they just need o convert bush to WR

I'm a diehard Texans fan and am very happy with the AJ pick, so dont take what i am going to say the wrong way, but you just might have to eat your words after this coming season. McGahee will be one of the top RB's in the league the next 4-5 yrs. He is now on a quality football team with a great O-Line compared to what he had in Buffalo. Don't be surprised if he gets 1500 yds and 9-10 TD's this season. I just hope AJ can put up numbers close to what WM will be putting up. JMHO.
