Vikings pass defense is going to have there hands full will Andre Johnson and crew. Also Minnesota has had trouble on special teams, one of the Texans strongest areas.

We haven't played in a dome stadium yet so a lot of noise will be echoing in that place. I hope Kubiak is working extra hard on the simulated crowd noise drills this week. Penalties will be a contributing factor in this game I feel. If we remove the false start penalties it makes it that much less challenging for the team.
I also would like to see Mario line up mosting on the Viking's left side. Peterson breaks big runs from that side with McKinney and Hutchinson on that side and it would help to have our best run-stopper on that side. If we can shut down the run, I think we double our chances of winning this game. I don't think Gus can lead that team solely on passing.

would it be feasable to put okam and tj along with mw and bullman as our dline to stop the run inside and have a pretty **** good presence on the corners??
The key to the game for the Texans - even beyond 'controlling' Adrian Peterson - is keeping Kevin Williams and Jared Allen off Schaub. If Matt has time, then the Texans offense will have success. It would be nice to get the running game going too but the Vikes front seven are tough. Like someone else said, communication is also a key. That place can get loud. Let's hope thie loudness is Fire Chilly chants.

I concur. Even if the Vikings' secondary isn't that great, their starting four or seven will no doubt be a problem. We have to hope the improved performance of the offensive line has more to do with them getting better and not the opponents getting worst.

I think we're ready to counter this with all the quick passes we've been using recently.
saints put up 330
bears put up 283
we just put up 280 on the then 6th pass d
this might become a highscore for both sides
i would expect us to put up 300 and 30+

we probably won't do much running so we will have to work in some screens and short passes.
