I guess Moats showed them enough, it is a shame he never reached his potential with us, good luck in the future Chris.

I believe he was waived the same day as Darius Walker. He was on IR, so I don't know how that works since Chris Brown is still there. Injury settlement maybe?

Not really that big of a surprise with the emergence of Slaton as a potent #1, green staying healthy enough to add that other back, and the emergence of Moat's potential. I liked Chris Taylor, but who knew his true potential? Losing him 2 consecutive years in a row to a season ending injury, really before the season starts, was just too much liability.
Good luck though for the future. Hope things work out.

I kind of felt this coming. Taylor has just had a string of bad luck where the injuries are concerned. Hopefully he catches on somewhere and can reach his full potential. It seems to me that a lot of people are surprised that Slaton turned out to be so good. If anyone watches a lot of college football they are not surprised. It looks like Kubiak and Smith are showing us why they are the coaches and we are just fans. It looks like we didn't need Mendenhall, Vince or Bush afterall.

The thing with Chris Brown must be contract related.
Taylor got a lot of love/hype early on but I think once they tried him out the injury situation started up again and he probably wasn't fitting into Gibbs system as much as they wanted. Unfortunately, that is how things go, he show speed at times, but a lot of times he couldn't break tackles or would run right into traffic. The writing for him was really on the wall when the Texans picked up a full back to back up Leech after putting CC Brown on IR.
I do hope he and Darius Walker find success else where as I can tell they tried to play their hearts out when given the chance.

This league can be tough. If you are injured often or at the wrong time, there is no time to wait it out unless you were a stud from the beginning. It's this reason that Adrian Peterson wasn't taken high in the draft among other players. Now there are a few that go on to do amazing things (Adrian Peterson again), but most of the time, the team that takes a chanace on that player will lose out on the money they gave him in his contract.
Taylor seemed like he'd be a solid back. Not a superstar. A solid back. Just sad to see him leave on a bad note. I really hope he can make it on another squad and be at least a backup for another team.
