He is fast and can tackle, just cant cover. The coaches should try him at safety position.

He doesn't seem big enough to play safety to me.

He isn't big enough but why have him play CB just to give up a big play every other play? as long as we have a different CB covering the WR who needs to worry about him back in the secondary somewhere.
I wouldn't want him starting at S we are doing just fine with Eugene Wilson and Nick Ferguson, I'm liking this Secondary besides Reeves. PLEASE FIX THAT TEXANS! BOLDEN IS DOING GREAT ON SPECIAL TEAMS! GIVE HIM A CHANCE PLEASE!!!!
Moulden? Or did we get a new CB that I was not awear of?

yeah I would just insist on not playing Reeves at all....the guy cant cover for hell...and as for his tackling abilities...he looks more like a Matador and shies away from contact...he likes piggy back rides from what i can tell though...he'll take a 5-10 yarder any time your willing to give him one.

Exactly :(
Not what any team wants in a player.
why not just put a LB at CB? he's gonna give up the big play anyways xP
Id rather see a rookie who's starving for a chance to get on the field

the Texans need to stop throwing money at players no one else wants. we fail at free agency

we need to move him off the roster.

and thats why i say we fail at free agency, because we threw a ton of money at this guy (among others) and now we have to keep him. i would be surprised if they didn't keep him as a starter for a while.

I agree the S position is doing really good right now and I wouldn't want reeves anywhere in my secondary.

I posted a thread with this joke of a player during the game:
To be an NFL CB you have to know how to turn your head around. Why does the "great" db coach of ours not tell Kubes to bench this fool. Every and I mean EVERY play that goes to Joke Reeves he never lookes for the ball. How is this guy a starter and making all that money? I know we have a depleated secondary, but that is no excuse to have crappy players playing on our defense. I hate this guy's talent and now I see why the cowgirls did not want the crappy player. The only reason this guy got the int and td was a bad throw by ferrotte. If the WR would have caught that ball he would have scored 7. **** i am frustrated at the play of this crappy player!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Go Texans! Greatest comback in franchise history!
I said to a friend today that maybe he should play safety, he won't have to turn his head around that much.

The key here is we throw money at FAs that their team of origin does not want anymore nor most other teams.

I honestly don't feel like defending Reeves today, but I feel compelled to try to balance the arguement.
Reeves good points are simply speed and experience. The only CB on the roster that might be as fast is the rookie Molden, but we have only seen him on special teams. Experience he is comparable to Robinson and Faggins, but is obviously faster. Yes, we know he isn't a ball hawk or even a ball canary with some of the plays he lets get by him but he is one of the best we have for better or worst.
