Not to sound anything like a sore loser cause the question would have been brought up regardless of the outcome but...

Shouldn't Kevin Williams and Pat Williams been on the bench due to testing positive for water pills?

Wow. I would be excited to know that I can use drugs and test positive and my employer wouldn't fire me or penalize me.

I know they aren't the only 2 who tested positive, there's others, but that doesn't matter. Maybe players who allegedly take steroids aren't truly Pro Bowlers? Either way, the NFL has given all of these guys 2 weeks to play this season without penalty. That's not right.

The team will usually only suspend a player if the league hasn't already taken action. They're already expecting to lose them for 4 weeks, why punish them even more?

I think what he means is, the game would have been easier for us. I understand the mentality, btu I want our team beating the best teams each Sunday... not getting gimmie wins because teams are injured or benching players.

looking for an advantage huh? one of our players was on that list also you know? i think they will still get their suspension, we weren't lucky to benefit from it. plus if they didnt play, we might've still have loss due to the turn-overs.

Agreed, and I rescind my statement if it wasn't relevant to the topic.

no, not an easier game. why do people on these forums always jump to conclussions. lol i stated this had very little to nothing to do with the outcome of today's game. this has to do with positive results. not only for the vikings but the texans, saints, and all involved. the williams duo in there or not, adrian would have still done adrian and our defense would have still done our defense.
one of our players was on that list also you know?
i didnt see pittman out on the field. lol

We as a team need to face a team with full strength.

Forget all the excuses. Forget all the media that would take those excuses from the other team and throw it back in our face. We need to learn how to play good teams in 100% mode. I don't like how we hope for injuries or players being out so that we can beat that team. I want to be able to face the Patriots, Steelers, Vikings, Chargers, and other powerhouse teams and be just fine if they are playing full strength.

This game shows us we aren't quite ready yet. But it DOES show we are very close to becoming a really good football team. Again we were one or two plays from getting a W in a very loud dome.
