I'm not talking players, offensive or defensive philosophy, or coaching here.

What we need is some good ol' fashioned NASTINESS. When your QB goes down because of a questionable hit on one play, then the person responsible needs to be dealt with on the very next play. If you show that you will protect your teammates then things like this won't happen.

When the defense takes the field the opposing offense needs to fear an entire game of hell. One inch of ground should be protected with absolute ferosity. Let's take Baltimore or Pittsburg for example. Those defenses are flying around like rabid dogs. They do have games where they may give up a few points but 90% of the time just getting a 1st down is worth celebrating. Attack, attack, attack!!

All too often we play on our heels and are too soft.

Let's get a little Psycho and blow somebody up on the field and put some fear in the opponents for a change.

I know that last year when Travis Johnson was ripped for screaming at an unconcious Trent Green I agreed that it was over the line a little. But if we play with that same nastiness then we will be a feared defense.

I felt Travis wasn't in the wrong for yelling at trent Green...for one trent went for his knees second he didn't know he was unconcious......Call me crazy but i think Our Defense is a couple of players and a Coordinator away from being real good

D line: Amobi is still a freakin Teen and is gonna get better, Okam if coached and developed can be a monster, Mario is mario we just need someone across from him

LB Demeco is a Probowl MLB, Zac Diles looks like the real deal, Xavier might be the X-Factor in the LB Core

CB Dunta when healthy is a beast , Fred was statistically the #1 corner in the league last year, we have yet to see what Molden can do jaq-strap Reeves needs to be the nickel

FS We need to invest in the draft
SS Brown , Fergerson, Wilson, or Demps

i agree. i think we should invest in a FS as our #1 pick this year, use our cap space to make a HUGE push for nmandi osumugah, make move to in the second round of the draft to draft a DE like maybe george selvie to play opposite mario, and look to draft another OLB, SS, RB, OG in the later rounds. prolly in that order. the focus of our off season should be getting osumugah though. can you imagine a Dunta/Osumuguh duo with bennett at the nickel!? SICK!! thats just my two cents....

 :D
