If you had to lay blame on one person, player or coach, who would it be?

This is football. Its not that easy. Its NEVER just 1 person.

For me it will be coaching . .

Last time i checked Texans had the top 5 offense in the league and the #2 offense in the AFC, they will most likely have the first wide receiver to reach 1,000 yards this season in Andre Johnson and they have only won 3 games.

Keep in mind they also have one of the highest turn over ratio's also and that is killing them along with a defense that only plays a half.

All turnovers by the quarterbacks, so blame them? It's not fair on that stance either though just because our line hasn't had the best pass protection.

COACHING AND CHARLIE C. seems like our team never makes any half time adjustments but the other teams do;plus waisted time outs ,no clock management and the defense speaks speeks for itself.

I blame Reggie Bush

It's easier to blame Bud Adams.

Blame has to rest with the FO and ownership.

The coaches can ONLY coach who they are given. And thats the FO and owners call(HC has some input). If the players play bad, thats half coaching and half FO/owner if they have talent and can't win...coaches. If they have no talent or alot of average players at best...that the FO.

Perfect example: Chargers- Have the legit tools to make a SB trip, but somehow the players are off and then some. LT's rushing numbers are like what 1/2 what they normally would be.

Example 2: Bengals- Good coach, but only a handful of players who are legit...plus players who are hurt...and CJ(head case). Making them a lost cause even with a good HC.

We are in the middle, some talent....some not. But, the FO/owner won't take chances on guys that, true could cause issues. But are proven, like D. Hall(we need a legit CB).

So, I say the FO/owner here Gary seems to get decent O play, but the D sucks due part to talent and part to Richard Smith.

Coaching and FO...without a doubt. IMO they have the players on offense, and the Defense is 85%. We've got some great players, some good and a few borderline on the D side of the ball, but with a good plan these players can be coached up. Our CBs look bad cause we don't get pressure on the QB giving them too much time to find that wrinkle. Kubiak is too afraid to fire Smith (he MUST have something on Gary) and the GM for some reason won't do it either. So I put the failure of the D on Gary and the GM for NOT addressing the poor coaching on Defense. The buck stops with those two.

Richard Smith or Sage Rosenfels. Take your pick.

Sage MIGHT find his way out of his funk. Richard Smith will not.
