Since, I didn't see any other threads about it.
I am glad that Davis is back on the field. While David Anderson and Jacoby Jones did a fantastic job filling in for him, Davis being back on the field gives us back some offensive threats.
He didn't look back at full speed with that one deep pass that Rosenfels threw his way where he had reached it yet. But that Kick off return that should have been a TD, shows why he is such an asset to our team.

I wish that KO return would have counted I love watching a long KO or punt return. I was mad the rest of the game. Maybe he gets another one before the season ends.

Even though the kick return was called back, he now knows he can still break a kick for 6. This at least gives him the comfort of knowing he can still do it the way he did last season. I for one am happy that he did not get many chances to try and return kickoffs. I wouldn't mind seeing JJ return more punts though, because that means our D stopped them cold in their tracks.

I for one was happy with the way we got the ball back several times today. Namely turnovers. For all I care the opposing team can have their punter sit on the bench all day and just give up 3 or 4 turnovers a game. Jacoby can just sit pretty and collect his game check. :D

Btw JJ fumbled once the ball at our 20 yard, Molden helped him out.

I'm hoping the Texans were just advertising Andre Davis to the rest of the NFL (the fact that he's now healthy and capable) with the hopes of trading him later, possibly for draft picks. The guy makes way to much money to be a kick returner and doesn't belong in our lineup of starting WR's. If they can't trade him then they need to cut him.

Are you nuts? Davis is our 3rd WR, he is a north-south kick returner, blocks and catches deep passes. We gave him that amount of money in the past off season for a reason, the man adds tremendous depth to our offense and special teams. There is no doubt we wouldn't have had the previous 8-8 season without him and having an experienced tall WR with his speed to be able to come in so that Walter and Johnson don't constantly have to be on the field is a godsend few other teams have.
You saw how many times Cleveland had to go to Edwards because other then their tight end no one else was reliable. Lose Davis and one injury to Walter or AJ, we are in a similar boat. Anderson is great in the slot position and Jacoby shows promise but neither is a number 2 or steady number 3 yet.

Andre Davis is a great 3rd WR. I used to think he was better than KW, but I've changed my opinion on that. I hope he can stick around. WR is one of the brightest spots on this team.
