In the last three games the Texans offense is averaging 415 yards a game with 121 on the ground. The colts offense is also producing averaging 389 yards a game and 91 on the ground. Slight Edge to the Texans. Overall the defenses are pretty equal at Texans giving up 265 yards a game and the Colts giving up 270. But the biggest difference in the two teams right now and the reason why I think the Texans have the slight edge on sunday is the Texans are giving up 67 yards on the ground the last three games while Indy is giving up 119. The Texans are coming into this game playing very strong football and I believe our strong rush D and the Colts recently struggling rush D is what makes the difference as the Texans will be able to control the line and the Texans win.
If you take a look back at those rushing performances against us the numbers are misleading. S Jackson rushed good only when we had already won the game. Garabage yards. Frank gore had one good run of 64 yards where we missed every tackle possible. The rest of the game he rushed for 27 yards. So I am sorry to say but do not expect to run all over us

First off, the strength of schedule debate is mind-numbing to me. The fact is the Colts have beaten everyone they played to date, including teams that Houston has lost to. They have beaten everyone the NFL has scheduled for them. So who cares? It is a meaningless stat that only people looking for reasons Houston can win actually use.

And comparing what each team has done over the past 3 games is meaningful how? I ask because none of the teams the Colts played were Houston and same for the Texans. And are you really comfortable with the idea of limiting the Colts rushing game considering who Indy has at QB? If the Colts rush for ZERO yards, they will still have a chance to win.

Lastly either team can win. But if anyone has a slight edge, it has to be the Colts. Home game, winners of 16 games in a row overall, the best player on either team in Manning, OD being out, among others. That does not mean the Colts win but if you are honestly measuring intangibles, they are on the Colts side.

indy skinnz i understand why you say that because they won 16 season games in a row blah blah, but i have a feeling if the texans get an early lead i dont think the colts come back from it (unless we have the famous rosencopter again) look to that game colts were done until we gave you guys the game gift wrapped so i can and believe the texans will win, dont count us out because of 13 outta 14 sooner or later those stats change

I guess that Stinker of a playoff game in San Diego Doesn't count huh

16 in a row, c'mon have you forgotten the egg you guys laid out there

Our last 16 game we are 10-6 and we played 4 of them without Schaub, how many games would you win with Sorgi in a 4 game stretch

This will be the FIRST time the Schaub & Dre combo has played against
the Colts.

If you match talent for talent, on defense, the Texans have the edge.
Eric Winston said on the radio the key is playing your scheme better
than the Colts do. Cover 2 is Cover 2, no matter the uniform. Also,
Marvin Harrison always shredded us, and now he's gone. This will
be a hellova game.

Hey, I like that math. That means we have won our last 45 games, if you dont count all those other games where the other teams score more than us. Patriots 17-0? Gimme a break! We have 45 straight since we joined the League in 2002. Thanks, Indy Skinnz.

Wow. I went back to watch the "Rosencopter" game, and man. Our defensive
talent and schemes are lightyears better than that. We had Travis Johnson,
Anthony Weaver, Petey Faggins, Morlon Greenwood, and Brandon Harrison
starting. DANG

Those guys are now replaced with premium talent:
Shaun Cody, Bernard Pollard, Antonio Smith, Brian Cushing, Dunta Robinson / G.Q.

Wow. What a difference a year makes.

The Colts are currently on a 16 game regular season win streak. It is a top 5 of all time streak.

And could you come up with a more meaningless bit of info with your Schaub/ Sorgi line.

You want relevant info - the Texans lost 3 games this year with Schaub playing.

Neither team is infallable.
