Default Texans Tailgate!!!

The Texans wanna get greedy on their tailgating passes and you see what happens.........they lost today!!!!!! They missed out on having less fans come tailgate, to an area where tailgating is encouraged by the TEXANS but all of sudden they wanna flip their script and NOT encourage tailgating anymore, unless we pay. Even thou the Texans are a billion dollar franchise, it's sad they are still taking every dollar they can from their best fans ever!!!!!! My wife and daughter wanted to come tailgate today, while my son and I were had plans to go into the game. I guess, the Texans can't let two lady's hang out in the parking lot anymore with out tailgating passes. I am a Texans season ticket holder and one of their biggest fans yet, but to everyone out there I hope this tailgating rule bites them in the rear and causes them to lose their up coming games and eliminate them from the play-offs this year. Maybe come next year, they will not forget about the "Texans encourage tailgating" advertising and commercials that we all see!!!!!! For we all know that Cowboys and Saints still have FREE tailgating with a parking pass!!!!!

Could be wrong but if you are a season ticket holder, you should have no problem entering the property of Reliant. Don't season ticket holders get these tailgating tickets?

I don't know...seem very subdued and just blah...no more sharing recipes, drinks, or sharing bbq or whatever your cooking with other fellow tailgators, seeing the familiar faces/neighbors week to week.

The comradery just, well there was none.

The Texans couldn't stop the Giants but they sure stopped 'tailgating' so to speak.

What does tailgating have to do with winning football games? I didn't know nonticket holders getting drunk in the parking lot effects the outcome of the game.

What kind of FAN (?) hopes that their team will lose and not make the playoffs? And why would you even go to a game only to wish your team a loss.

If, and I stress the word IF, you really DO have season tickets, you might as well sell them, if that is your attitude. If you really do have season tickets, sounds to me like all you have to do is pay $20 more for 2 tailgating tickets and be done with it. But I don't think that is the REAL case.

Do you go to an Astros game; go inside with your son; and leave your daughter and wife outside during the game?

"I hope they lose...rant...blah...rant...blah...." Dude, that's just crazy talk! Your post makes NO sense. Judging from the rant, and the time you posted this, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and dismiss it as a "PWI", = Posting While Intoxicated.

Unhappy Tailgating Was Disappointing

I understand the guy ranting about the new policy. Sometimes when you get angry you aren't alwasy clear headed and say things you don't mean. PWI(posting while intoxicated)? Maybe. I believe what this fan is saying is that tailgating was noticeably lacking in fun and he hates the new policy. I hate the new policy as well, but still support the Texans. Heck, both our vehicles have Houston Texan plates. Yes I have been a season ticket holder for about 7 years and a regular tailgater as well. I have enjoyed the tailgating environment and truly was disappointed at the last tailgating experience. Sure I want to enjoy a fun enviroment and don't want to deal with hoodlums. Certainly the Texans can release a few thousand tailgating passes for sale to non-season ticket holders. This is Houston's team and not just the team for those of us that can afford game tickets. Charge the public the ten bucks, but give them a chance. Overreact because of small percentage of attendees. No way! I think the Texans can definitely improve the new policy. Let's not scare regular tailgaters away by making it a boring experience.

I absolutely loved tailgating today. Best one so far. Easy in, easy out. No lines for the porta-potty. Hats off to the Texans FO for the policy change.

Thumbs up When is all the crying going to stop!!

My husband wouldn't let my daughter and I sit in a parking lot with a bunch of drunks while he was inside enjoying the game...or would I want to! Move your tailgating party to your house! See how your neighbors like it!!

If the outcome of the game depends on the tailgating atmosphere, no wonder Dallas kicked our butts....it was a major “drunkfest” out there. I'm tired of everyone thinking the new policy was a result of the Dallas game. That game was just the straw that broke the camel's back! It’s been bad out there for the last couple of seasons!

We have tailgated for the first time in 2 years!! I was tired of all the drunks, foul language, illicit music and LOSERS sitting on my car!!! GOOD RIDENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
