How do you kick in Madden 13?? (PS3)

OK seriously, the manual doesn't tell you how to kick, and I can't find anything online on how to do it. It shows that I have to use the R stick, but it doesn't tell me how to use it. All my punts and kickoffs are like 30 yards. Please help.

PS, how do you fair catch? Manual doesn't tell you that either.

Can the Mods find a place for games like they do for fantasy football? Or in the alternative, just move them to the Fantasy Football sub forum? Games are not even real football.

Use the right stick. Pull down to start the power meter, push up to stop. Accuracy is what direction you pushed up.

Lmao!! Nothing against Marshall, but you can sense Vance's frustration might have come out some because he can't kick & REALLY wants to know how.

I don't have a problem w/ gamer questions being here. If it's obviously a gamer question based on the thread title & you don't like it...don't read it. Simple solution IMO.
